Quick Chicken Stock

This is a pretty quick prep time (5 minutes) – and then needs a little attention to keep an eye on it hitting boiling point. But then you can allow it to simmer away nicely for an hour or two making a nice basic stock for soups.
Ingredients
- 1 Chicken Frames (can be fresh or frozen)
- 2L Water
Equipment
- Large Pot
- Measuring jug
Method
Put chicken frames in water in a pot, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5-2 hrs. Strain the bones from the pot and use the stock as required. Can store in the refrigerator for 3 days or the freezer for 3 months.
